Liv was taken in by the physician's guild as an orphan and later found by her only living blood relative, her uncle Robert. Uncle Robert placed her with a trustworthy pair of his friends and sponsored her magical education as she grew into a teenager. With the support of her adoptive parents and her uncle she has spent the last few years running a local apothecary and developing her powers over growing medicinal plants.
A few moons ago, the news spread that the Dark Lord of the Valrutis kingdom has died violently, and that his minions are spreading death and chaos throughout the whole Alliance. The sitation is the most dire in the late Dark Lord's own kingdom, where her uncle lives. The sudden lack of letters from him has Liv worried, so she packed up a travel bag and is making her way on foot to her uncle's kingdom as a travelling apothecary, hoping to find his house and assure herself of his health.
Liv is quiet, loyal to her family, and has a bit of a temper. She has a bad feeling about her trip, a fondness for the grotesque, and feels very lucky to have had the opportunity to develop her personal magic withour a guild sponsorship.
